Find your size

DÓRNOR rings are sized by the inner circumference in millimetres, the system used in Denmark and most of Europe. A size 54 ring measures 54 mm around the inside. Stock sizes run from 48 to 60 in steps of two; every other size, including half sizes, is made to order in about three to six weeks.

Two ways to measure

From a ring you already wear

Choose a ring worn on the same finger of the same hand. Lay it on a ruler and measure the inside from edge to edge, in millimetres, at the widest point. That is the inner diameter; read your size from the chart below.

Around your finger

Cut a strip of paper about five millimetres wide. Wrap it around the base of the finger, snug but not tight, and mark where it overlaps. Measure the strip to the mark in millimetres. That number is your size. If it falls between two sizes, choose the larger.

Fingers change through the day and with temperature. Measure in the evening at room temperature, and make sure the ring can pass over the knuckle. A wide band sits tighter than a slim one, so for bands of five millimetres or more consider half a size up.

If the size is not right

The first resizing of a ring bought from DÓRNOR is free. How far a ring can be sized depends on its construction; full eternity and pavé bands have limits, and the resizing page explains them. Made-to-order pieces cannot be returned, so if you are unsure, a fitting in the showroom at Danmarksgade 55A in Frederikshavn settles it in a few minutes. Book a meeting or come by during opening hours.

Description

The Clara Eternity Ring carries diamonds the whole way around — a continuous line of brilliance that never turns away from the light.

It is made in solid 14K recycled gold, set with round brilliant lab-grown diamonds totalling approximately 0.90 carats. The stones are hand-set in a clean micropavé, held in a modern U-shape setting that lets each one sit close to the skin and catch the day. Solid through. No plating, nothing that fades.

Wear it as a wedding band, pair it with your engagement ring, or stack it among others. Clara is built to be kept — worn across the ordinary days as much as the marked ones, and passed on when the time comes.

Every stone is grown rather than mined, graded by IGI, and set in solid 14 kt gold alloyed in Denmark. The certificate names the origin of the stone; ask us for the mill certificate on the metal and we will send it.
