Warm your hands before beginning by rubbing them together.
Wrap a strip of paper around the targeted finger.
To avoid ending up with a paper cut, make sure that the paper is tightly wrapped around your finger, the better.
Find where the paper meets and measure the distance with a ruler (mm).
If you are stuck between two sizes, always go with the larger size. A ring that is a fraction too big is better than one that doesn't fit at all.

Handy Tips

To figure out your ring size, wait until the end of the day to measure. Your fingers are typically slightly larger at this time.
If you want your ring to feel tighter, buy a band that is thicker. If you want it to feel looser, choose a thinner band.
After eating or drinking, you could cause your fingers to swell and make it difficult to measure your ring size.
Don’t measure your hands when they are cold, they can shrink up to half a size.
